Top scientist pleas for climate control

Royal society president Martin Rees wants a publicly funded international research programme. This is mentioned in the US journal science. He urges government leaders to put more funds to the climate agenda. The purpose of this agenda is to develop other forms of energy and technologies to counter global warming. The International Energy Agency predicts that by 2030 energy demand will increase by 50%.
