Japan plans to bury carbon dioxide

Japan has a huge capacity of ideas and their new idea is to bury carbon dioxide. The purpose pf this plan is to slash greenhouse gas emmissions. Mainly the carbon dioxide will be pumped into underground storage reservoirs instead of realeasing them into the atmosphere. The propsal will aim to bury 200 million tons of CO2 a year by 2020. Although the process is expensive. It will cost $52 per ton and collecting the gas will be diificult because first the gas much be liquefied, then filtered, and then again converted to the gas form. Its disadvantage, the storage tanks if it ever leaks or explodes with release tons of CO2 in an instant to the atmosphere.
